Founded in 1928, Guangxi University(GXU)is thelongest-establishedand largest comprehensive university in GuangxiZhuang Autonomous Region. It isauniversity under China’s“211 Project”for keyuniversitydevelopment,a“doublefirst-class” universitywith world-class discipline construction, andajointly-constructeduniversity of the Ministry of Education andPeople’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The main campuscoversan area of 265.5 hectares(approximately 3,982.5mu),with an additionalSubtropical Agricultural Science New Basecovering1,133.3337 hectares(approximately 16,900 mu). The universitycomprises25 schools, offering afullrange of disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine,administration, artsand the like.Guangxi Universitymaintainsa highly qualified, dynamic, and internationalized faculty, with 3,512 in-service staff.
