From October 28 to 29, the2023AnnualMeeting of the Ancient Literary Sources Research Associationand the Guangxi Multi-ethnic Integration of Literary Historical Seminar washostedbythe Chinese Literary Historical Society of Ancient Literature Historical Research Branchand jointly-organized by the School of Literature ofGXU,Literature and Culture Research Centerof GXU. Prof. Dr.Tian Lihui, member of the Standing Committee of theCPCand vice president ofGXU, attended the opening ceremony.

Tian pointed out that Guangxi isnot onlyone of the origins of the Maritime Silk Roadbut alsothe largest ethnic minority population in the country's provinces and regionswitha rich literary history.This meeting will help to carry forward the excellent traditional culture of Guangxi, further promote the in-depth development of the study of Guangxi's literature and history, and better combine the basic principles of Marxism with the excellent traditional Chinese culture. It contributestothecontinuation ofthe Chinese culture andthepromotion ofthe creative transformation of the excellent traditional Chinese cultureandinnovative development.

In the academic exchange session of the conference, the participating experts conducted in-depth discussions on the history of ancient Chinese literature and the history of multi-ethnic integration literature in Guangxi, and put forward new ideas and concepts with foresight.

Nearly 90 experts and scholars from more than 50 universities and research institutes attended, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Lingnan University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Guangxi Minzu University.
