2. Program Length andSemesters

The Bachelor’s Degree Program lasts 4 years, whileMaster’s Degree Program,3 years.

There are two semesters in GXU: theSpringand theFall.TheFallsemesteristhenewbeginningofanewacademicyear,usuallyfromSeptembertothefollowingJanuary.TheSpringsemester is usually from February to June.

3.RequiredQualificationsofApplicants

(1)Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid personal ordinary-type passports.

(2)Applicants shouldbeexclusivelyfromASEANcountries orthe sponsoredinternationalstudents by China Southern Power Grid OverseasProjects.

(3)Applicants should be physically and psychologically healthy in line with our physicalexamination requirements for study, resident, or visa application.

(4)Master’sDegreeProgramapplicantsshouldhaveaBachelor’sdegreeoranequivalenttoBachelor’s degree inChina.

(5) Applicantsshould befriendly to China, diligent, well-behaved, ofgoodcharacter,bewillingto abide by China’s laws and regulations, and withoutcriminal record.

(6)Master’sDegreeProgramapplicants’ ChineseproficiencyshouldbeHSK4,180pointsor

5. Evaluation andAdmission

Ittakes atleast4-8weekstoissueyour acceptanceletteruponreceivingyour application.Duringthatperiod,wewillinformyoutosubmitallthenecessarymaterialsweneed.GuangxiPowerGridCompany will jointlyevaluateyourapplication,andorganizeessentialinterview. If youareaccepted,we willdoour upmost tosend youtheacceptanceletteranditsrelevantdocumentsassoon as possible.

6. Visa Application

YoucangototheChinese Ambassyinyourhomecountrytoapplyforyourstudentvisawithyour acceptance letter andvisa application form.Whenyou arriveat GXU, youwill apply for Residence Permit. With that,you can legally study andliveinChina.

Note:TheResidencePermitisyourKEYdocumentduringyourstayinChina.Uponpayingyour tuition fees, GXU willhelp applyforit.

7. Deadline

8. The Relevant Information ofthe Scholarship

Our funding includes tuition,accommodation,livingexpenses,andinsurance.Thelivingexpensesincludelivingsubsidies,partof out-patientmedicalexpenses,physicalexaminationfees,visa/residencepermitfees,lump-sumsettlementallowance,transportationfees,applicationfeesfor HSK4/5, and textbook fees.
