Experimental Center

Experimental Center of theSchoolofMarine Sciences, Guangxi University was established in Septemberof2014,an important experimental base for scientific research and high-level teaching. Its goal is to fully realize the sharing of human, financial, and material resources, improve the efficiency of instrument and equipment use, form a high-quality experimental personnel team, and continuously improve the overall teaching and research level of the college.

ExperimentalCenter currently has 4 experimental teaching assistants, with a building area of about 9791m 2and various instruments and facilities worth about 100 million yuan. It has established a relatively systematic experimental technology research platform, including marine geology and environment, marine environment and chemistry, marine biology and ecology, marine remote sensing, and physical ocean experimental research platforms, providing equipment and technical support for scientific research and teaching in theSchoolofMarine Sciencesand Coral Reef Research Centerof China.

The experimental equipment of ExperimentalCenter has reached the excellent level of similar universities in China, which can fully meet the needs of scientific research in marine related fields. In the future, ExperimentalCenter will continue to actively create standardized and efficient experimental platforms, striving to make greater contributions to marine research and talent cultivation in Guangxi and even the whole country.
