TheSchool ofMarxismat Guangxi University has launched a degreeprogramin philosophy since 1978.With a profound history in academicscholarshipand a fine tradition in teaching and research, it has cultivated a large workforce of high-quality talent forthe country.According to incomplete statistics, there is 1 sub-national leader, 3 government officials of provincial-ministerial level, more than 20 of bureau-director level, and 30 college professors among the alumni. The school features akey disciplineinGuangxiin 2013, namely the first-level discipline in philosophy and in 2015 its undergraduate program in philosophy was rated as an advantageous and featured program inGuangxi. In 2019, it was selected as a first-class undergraduate major construction site. Moreover, with afirst-level master's degree programin philosophy, the school has gone into the lead as to the rate of students continuing learning in graduate school.
